EVAN

Born and raised in the vibrant light of Columbus, Ohio's diverse music space, and heavily influenced by the great artists of the early twenty-first century, EVAN has always had a taste for shifting genre. After years having written with and for others, while simultaneously struggling to identify a strong first release under his own name, he has finally produced "skeleton papercuts", a bold and idiosyncratic first effort.

Central to EVAN's approach to songwriting is storytelling and heart. Having studied with great writers from every age and background, EVAN has learned that music is one of the few truths that defines the human condition. Through love, loss, and contemplations of god, music is EVAN's way of understanding the world and interacting with it.

EVAN is proud to have studied songwriting at New York University, ,earning from greats such as Phil Galdston, David Wolfert, Janice Pendarvis, Dana Calitri, Kevin Killen. Additionally, EVAN credits Liz Woolley, Rosanne Cash, and many others with inspiring his writing.

In addition to writing and producing new music, EVAN is honored to be working with MusicAnswers, a non-profit that educates, engages, and advocates for music creators.
